2012 District 6080 Conference

NOTE: As of September 24, the Radisson Conference Center in Branson has notified us that they have run out of lodging rooms for the District Conference period, October 18-20. There are many fine hotels and motels in the vicinity from which to choose that will accommodate your conference needs just fine. Please check the Rotary District 6080 website frequently. They are trying to prepare and post a listing of available lodging that will best accommodate the needs of members and guests.
Thursday, October 18 – Enjoy fun and fellowship with other Rotarians by golfing at a Payne Stewart golf course. Conference registration begins at 3:00 p.m. Doors open at 4:15 p.m. for a dinner and show at Dixie Stampede. A reception at the hotel will follow at 8:00 p.m.
Friday, October 19 – Registration opens at 7:00 a.m., and the first General Session about the Dolly Parton Imagination Library will begin at 8:00 a.m. Two workshops follow at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., respectively. The second General Session featuring the GSE Team from Panama will begin at 12:00 noon. Workshops follow until 4:15 p.m. At 6:00 p.m., a reception will be held followed by the banquet General Session at 6:30 p.m. Rotary International Representative John T. Capps will speak at this General Session. Immediately following the banquet will be a Texas Hold ‘Em and Blackjack tournament.
Saturday, October 20 – Breakfast will accompany the General Session at 8:00 a.m. This will be a memorial service for Roy Rogers, Jr. The final workshop session begins at 10:15 a.m., and the closing session will include a luncheon beginning at 11:45 a.m. Youth Exchange Awards will be presented, and Mr. Capps will bring his final remarks.
