2014 Vocational Service Award

On May 14, 2014, Sarah Read was presented with Metro Rotary’s annual Vocational Service Award.

Owner of The Communications Center, Inc., Sarah has been a member of Metro Rotary since June, 2004.  A Paul Harris Fellow, she currently serves on the Community Service Committee and as the Co-Chair of the Club Administration Committee.  Sarah has been a valued coordinator of the recently received District Simplified Grant, and she has volunteered tirelessly for the students at Douglass High School.

Sarah is an excellent example of someone who adheres to the highest ethical standards in her work, including the fair treatment of employers, fellow employees, associates, students, parents and the general public.

Previous winners of the Metro Rotary Vocational Services Award have included Robert Ross, Jr., Officer Shelley Jones, Mike Hood, Robyn Kauffman, Steve Sapp, Sheriff Ted Boehm, Judge Christine Carpenter, Mayor Darwin Hindman, Captain Brad Nelson, Don Laird, Karen Taylor, Bill Watkins, Phil Steinhaus and Dr. Eryca Neville.
