Local Rotarians Celebrate 110 Years of Rotary!
On February 23, 1905, Paul Harris, Gustavus Loehr, Silvester Schiele and Hiram Shorey gathered in Loehr’s office for what would become known as the first Rotary meeting. What began in Chicago as a meeting of professionals with diverse backgrounds has now become an organization of over 1.2 million members honoring the commitment of Service Above Self.
This past Monday, Rotarians gathered at the Keys to the City sculpture in front of City Hall. Professional photographer, and Metro Rotarian Casey Buckman, captured the moment with a group photo (please click on the photo to enlarge).
