Metro Rotary WILL NOT MEET on November 25!
Thanksgiving is a national holiday which began as a day established to give thanks for the blessings of the harvest and the preceding year. In 1941, President Roosevelt signed legislation establishing the fourth Thursday of November as Thanksgiving Day, which we now observe.
Metro Rotary club has been blessed by members who are professionals in many different fields. The ability to coordinate the varying levels of skills and expertise as resulted in many successful projects being completed. For 22 years, members have volunteered as mentors, provided financial support, led exchange groups and served in many leadership roles. As we continue to move ahead, may we continue to keep our focus on the needs that exist locally, nationally and internationally.
Best wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Metro will resume its regular luncheon meeting schedule at 12:00 noon on December 2.
